What we need to quote
- Exact length, width and height
- Total mass and centre of gravity
- Whether the machine can be driven on or must be lifted
- Lifting points and crating details
- Site access and ground conditions at both ends
Practical considerations
- Abnormal dimensions require permits, which take time to obtain.
- Travel-time restrictions may apply to permitted loads.
- Fragile or sensitive equipment may need crating or additional protection.
